Okay, so beat boxing and Olympic boxing are NOT the same thing! Boxing has been around forever, or at least since 3000 BC. Boxing was part of the ancient Olympics in Greece and made it’s debut in the modern Olympics in 1904. Boxing isn’t just about pummeling the competition, although that’s a huge part! There are judges in boxing and scores are awards for various types of hits and skill displayed. Learn more here.
JUDO
Judo is sort of like wrestling and karate combined in that your goal is to get you opponent down on their ground for a certain amount of time. Check about more about this sport that made it’s Olympic debut in 1964.
