The Downtown Melbourne Botanical Festival is back for its third year! This fantastic event showcasing over 35 statewide plant and garden vendors offering trees, plants, decorative items and more will take place on Saturday, March 2nd 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM in the parking lot of the 1900 Building. Entrance and parking are free to the public!

We are also pleased to announce the Marine Resources Council will be conducting Rain Barrel Workshops at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. (Workshop space is limited, please RSVP at savetheIRL.org). We hope you will join us to learn the benefits of collecting rainwater, the positive impact it has on the Lagoon, and how to construct your own rain barrel at this year’s Botanical Fest!
