Here’s this week’s update on sports around the world
CROSS-COUNTRY SKI
We like to talk about Olympic dreams on the Mark Moses Show…we talk big about Princess Nicole’s fantasy of trying to compete in the Olympics. Adrian Solano didn’t make it to the Olympics, but we won’t count him out yet because he did make it to the Nordic World Ski Championships…all without ever having skied before! That’s right, Solano is from Venezuela and trained on wheels.
If you’re having flashbacks to Cool Runnings, you’re not alone. Learn more about Solano’s adventure and enjoy an old clip of our favorite Jamaican Bobsled team here.
DANCING
We just might have to start covering ballroom dancing since many athletes continue to go on the show and dancing is arguably a sport of its own. So that means that our new favorite athlete is, the one and only, Mr. T!
EXCLUSIVE: @MrT & @Simone_Biles will compete on Season 24 of #DWTS! 💃https://t.co/qHDUXPENcb pic.twitter.com/RTOoKLjYsL
