Remember all of the stories we heard about lodging issues in for the winter games in Sochi? The athletes’ village in Rio De Janeiro has gotten bad reviews. While there are complaints about the village resembling a college dorm, the more serious complains have to do with safety and plumbing issues.

OPENING CEREMONIES

DOPING
Russia’s entire Track & Field team was banned from competing in Rio and now their women’s rowing team has also been banned. While this is another blow for Russia, Australia is thrilled to take the vacated spot!

A wrestler for India claims his food supplements were tampered with banned doping substances added. He has requested an investigation and will have one more chance to take a doping test that will decide whether or not he is allowed to compete in Rio.
